No Chimping Photo Outing
>> Wednesday, 17 September 2008
Last Saturday, I was at Lake Garden for this "No Chimping Outing". Just for your info, no chimping means you are not allowed to look at your camera's LCD to preview your shots. Also, we are only allowed to use a fixed ISO, a fixed focal length (preferably prime lens) and manual mode instead of the usual P - programmable, A - aperture priority or S - shutter priority.
Here are some shots with my 85mm f/1.8.
Some stairs in the playground.
Trying out some shots with limited depth-of-field (DOF).
This is why weather plays an important role in your outdoor shooting. Notice the darker area on the left?
So, I have to look for a shot with even lighting.
Blindly adjust to a bigger aperture and this is the outcome :)
I know it has been awhile since my last update. I get pretty busy when I am back in Malaysia compared to when I am in London. Anyway, enjoy :)
