Oslo - One of the world's most expensive city
>> Monday, 4 August 2008
Oslo is rated one of the most expensive cities in the world. Here is a list of world's most expensive cities. The price of a meal in Oslo is double the amount compared to London. I was quite surprised with that, but I am not too sure if they earn twice as much as London for someone with similar job scope and experience.
This is the fortress and castle of Oslo. Well that is because the fortress is just next to the castle and apparently they are still using it for the military. The castle is just located 15-20 minutes walk from the famous Aker Brygge street.
It was pretty amazing to see this. You might be asking what's so great about that? The time I took this shot was at 12AM from the window of my hotel. The sun is still up eh?
Statue of naked humans can be seen throughout Oslo.
Just two statues? Wait till you see more photos of Vigeland Sculpture Park then you will definitely agree with me.
There are some statues of kids too. I think they might need to put some anti-bird spikes just so the statues can be free from bird's shit.
This is the Aker Brygge shopping centre. It is just right beside the pier.
This is the port for the water taxi which is about 5-10mins walk from Aker Brygge street. More photos coming up :)

Read about Oslo as being one of the most expensive cities too. My cousin has gone to Oslo for a student exchange now... hmm, hope she can cope with the standard of living there for half a year...
