A Short Kuala Lumpur Shooting

>> Tuesday, 7 October 2008

I was out with a few friends last weekend. The main purpose of this outing was for photoshooting, but somehow we ended up watching a movie. Well, overall it was still great. I managed to take a few photos around KL city centre.

It was really a short and quick one as most of us were very hungry after the movie. So food was the only thing we had in mind.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Pavilion

The evening blue sky of Kuala Lumpur will look like this most of the time.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Pavilion

This is Pavilion in case you guys couldn't recognise it.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - zebra crossing

It is actually very rare to see people using the zebra crossing. Probably they were all tourists ;)

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - zebra crossing

Malaysia is well known for its humidity and warm weather. Yes, HOT and WET.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Espirit

When it comes to nightscape I always love to capture any sources of lights for example signboards, street lights, moonlight, etc.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Taxis

These are the Kuala Lumpur city taxis. You should be able to see them almost everywhere except maybe the airport.

Enjoy and feel free to drop some comments :)

A picture is worth a thousand words. These pictures tell it all. I love your statement about capturing every single source of light for a good photo. I learned something. So next time when am on my trip to a Kuala Lumpur nightlife walk, i will try and implement that tactic :)
Cool man, i think you can get a good job in Kuala Lumpur photography with the Kuala Lumpur Tourism Department..haha. just teasing.

Anyway, here is to a better living
Cheers

The way you took those photos, makes the city looks so great, you might think you were in New York City. Even though I have never been to NY, I think even Kuala Lumpur is equally beautiful in its own way. We need a few people like you who can really capture the mood and feeling which has been depicted in the picture. Honestly if i was a tourist looking for the next destination and I happened to come across some of the photos like these, i would quickly make up my mind and say "Kuala Lumpur here i come". Beautiful. may be you can share some photos with me sometime to post on my site about fun travel and living in kuala lumpur.

thanks Chee Wei

Cheers

clemente: thanks for your wonderful comments. Well, most people always tell me that the photos are nice because its Europe. I don't quite agree with them. I know sometimes its hard to compare because its entirely different part of the world. So since I am back here, I am just trying my best to give people a different view of things. Anyway, thanks again for your comments :) It's nice to know that there are people who appreciates them.

Beverly: bet you haven't been there. Actually, I only been to Pavilion 2-3 times and didn't really go through everything. Yes definitely, malaysian food rocks!!!

reddishTea: thanks, wanna make them as your wallpaper? I promise not to charge u :P yeah I like the zebra crossing as well.

waiseng: yes its up. when are you posting yours?

sandra: haha thank you so much sandra :)

she3p: yeah not many people actually bother using it. I guess its a lot faster to just cross :P
